Import Matrix is a gathering of import cars in the Red Bank area. Our goal is to bring to you the latest news in the import world regarding cars, drivers, as well as product reviews for the newest most popular import modifications. Currently we have 10 members and are looking for sponsors in order to widen our audience and become a real racing team. We take the import scene as well as our cars very seriously, and we wish to provide you with the most accurate information and feedback regarding any of your questions about import cars. tip of the week

6/17/02 Well only a few people were able to make it to Hot Import Nights on Saturday but it was still well worth it. Over 25,000 people showed up for the event and over 700 cars were featured inside the convention center. Not to mention all the other sweet cars just cruising around outside the convention center before the show.

6/6/02 The new RX-8 is reported to go into production late this year. It will be offered as a rear-drive coupe and sedan with suicide rear doors. It’s powered by Mazda’s revolutionary RENESIS side exhaust rotary engine pumping out 250 horsepower in non-turbo form. Hopefully it will live up to its predecessors; who knows maybe they will make a twin turbo RX-8, judging by how successful the twin turbo RX-7 was for Mazda performance I don’t see how they couldn’t.

5/28/02 The team has really picked up speed over the past weekend and is looking great. Three members got ImportMatrix.com windshield drops to promote the site and it seems to be working. This site however is still not completely up but don't get discouraged it will be very soon:-)

If you haven't heard Hot Import Nights is making its way to the Atlantic City Convention Center on June, 15. Toyo Tires is sponsoring it so there is sure to be lots of great cars there. Many members of the Import Matrix Team are trying to attend in order to get our name out there in the import world.
